Stump Grinding and Stump Removal

Iron Horse Contracting uses a Carlton 4400-4 stump grinder to safely grind and remove stumps in a cost effective manner. Our grinder uses Greenteeth carbide grinding teeth that provide a smooth and fast cut, making our job easier, thus saving you money.

Our grinder is small enough to drive through tight spaces, yet has a large enough engine to grind and remove the largest stumps. Do you have a gate that blocks access to larger machines? No problem! Our stump grinding equipment is designed to be able to pass through gates normally found at residences like those in Shreveport and Bossier City.

We also specialize in being able to remove stumps in tight or hard to reach areas. If you have a stump that is close to a house or shed we can safely remove the stump. Whether you have one stump to remove or you have one hundred stumps to remove, give us a call today to dicuss the process.

Fast and Cost Effective

Here you can see our stump grinder at work on a large Southern Yellow Pine stump. This stump took about 15 minutes to grind down below the surface. The tree was damaged in a recent storm and the homeowner will now be able to make a flower bed where the tree used to be.

Here the stump grinder has made short work of a medium sized stump from a hard wood tree.
